We are Growing Tomorrow’s Church Today: Claiming God’s Promises for our People, our Programs and our Property. It is a vision of challenge, risk and growth — and a call to action.

We live in a complex world. Individuals and families can feel overwhelmed by economic and societal pressures. Our earthly world is in transition.

We also live in a time of tremendous potential. Of boundless opportunity and hope for spiritual fulfillment.  Of lives changed.

The Growing Tomorrow’s Church Today Campaign marks an exciting time for the Anglican Diocese of Calgary.  Together, we will reach out to people, strengthen our ministry and build centres of faith to serve generations to come. We will make present God’s plan of salvation revealed in Jesus Christ.

Wishing for a future in which all people are blessed by God’s love will not make it so. We have a responsibility to help build a society that fosters the well-being of all people. We need to serve a questioning, struggling, seeking world. Never has the need — or the opportunity — been greater. We can help people transform themselves and society. The people of God can be agents of transformation.

As a Diocese, we have tremendous potential. We are richly diverse in many ways — urban and rural, young and old, rich and poor, new as well as long-time Anglicans, large congregations and small — all strengths that will ensure a healthy, vibrant Diocese for generations to come.

We will inspire faithful life in other places because we take care of our people and give them the resources they need to be fruitful for the sake of the gospel. Through new and different ministry programs, we will help change lives, marked by positive, spiritual and Christ-like ways. We will use our property wisely to grow our congregations and to open many doors to God’s gifts.
