The Orthodox tradition of Eastern Christianity contains some beautiful images and practices for the season of Lent. In his book, Great Lent: Journey to Pascha, Orthodox priest Alexander Schmemann explores that tradition and guides the faithful into a deeper experience in preparation for Christ’s death and resurrection.
Our annual Lenten Study Series, led by various clergy from the diocese, will lead us through weekly reflections on Schmemann’s book. Come join the conversation!
