St. Francis of Assisi, Airdrie announces that we are spearheading our third annual "Praise in the Park 2026" on Sunday, June 7, from 1:00 to 6:00ish at Nose Creek Regional Park. Worship bands from several local churches will join us to proclaim Christ's message through song. Each band promises lengthy playlists, so we may go longer.
Praise in the Park is dedicated to creating a family-friendly atmosphere by fostering community spirit through music and worship. Our mission is to create a welcoming environment for all to experience the joy of faith and fellowship.
This year, there will be food trucks and a small artisan market specializing in spiritual goods. We will also feature a Christian-based children's entertainer to ensure the whole family gets involved. Our own Rev. Joan Schellenberger from St.Francis will open up the event with prayers for the city, the community and the performers.
We want to encourage everyone to mark the date on your calendar and come down to Nose Creek after church on June 7 for some beautiful and inspirational music. Tell your friends and neighbours as well.
